PhD Candidate
I am a PhD candidate in Comparative Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. As an eco-feminist, interreligious comparative theologian rooted in Wesleyan theology and in deep dialogue with Hindu Śākta theology, my research explores the Divine relationship with materiality and how theology shapes our understanding of evil and suffering in the world. With a secondary concentration in theology and science, underpinned by philosophy of science, I bring a multifaceted approach to my scholarly work. I am an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church, a yoga instructor, an artist, and co-editor of The Berkeley Journal of Religion and Theology. A lifelong learner, I am called to use creativity, passion, and authenticity to teach, enrich lives, think deeply, and build dialogical bridges across traditions. Through my teaching and research, I aim to foster understanding and encourage others on their intellectual and spiritual journeys.
